MY NAME IS KRISTINA LUNA
As a busy wife and mom of 6, I've known the feeling of living for everyone else. In 2018, after the birth of my youngest child, I developed severe postpartum anxiety. That experience forced me to admit that sheer willpower wasn't enough to create a thriving life. For years I'd been denying myself the same loving care I wanted to share with others. I had to make a change if I was going to continue showing up as my best self. I went on a quest to learn about emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation and the body's innate ability to heal from the inside out. I fell in love with reiki healing because of its simplicity and effectiveness. In 2021, I became a certified reiki practitioner. Since then, it's become my goal to shine a light on the incredible healing power each one of us carries within.
Reiki is a gentle biofield therapy which promotes deep states of relaxation and communication within the body, stimulating the body's own healing response thereby aiding in relief of pain, tension and stress.

What To Expect During a Reiki Session
Your treatment room is lovingly prepared to create a clean and inviting space where you can feel safe to completely relax. When you arrive at your appointment, you will be offered a comfortable seat to talk about your current conditions and goals for treatment. Next you will remove your shoes (and glasses) and lie flat on a massage table fully clothed. After a quick assessment, treatment will begin. While soft music is playing, I will hold specific hand placements from head to toe to deliver gentle touch or no touch with my hands above the body.
During treatment, most clients feel the mind calm and the body relax. Reiki is so relaxing that sometimes clients fall asleep during the session. You will still receive all of the benefits of the session, sleeping or awake. You may feel slight tingling, heat, energy, emotions or nothing at all. It is different for everyone- stillness, slight movement, sound or emotional releases are welcome.
If at any point you become to hot/cold or uncomfortable in any way or need to change position, pause or stop, please let me know immediately so that adjustments can be made for your level of comfort.
Once the session is complete you will feel fully awake, likely more grounded and centered.
